Welcome To Mrs. Sully's 2nd Class
After far too many years to begin to keep track of, Mrs. Sully will be returning to her roots in a higher grade. This year will be a new adventure in 2nd grade at SV.
I have taught for over 25 years in public and private schools. I have worked with grades K-10 and have also taught EC as well. My training is in both K-6, Birth-K and all areas of EC. I also hold certification for AG (gifted and talented K-12). I attended/graduated from Guilford College, Western Carolina University and Old Dominion University too. I have tutored students for more than 10 years outside of teaching. No matter the grade level my mission remains the same.
My goal is to teach and reach all children based on their level of understanding and ability. Then, challenge them to grow beyond the standards to find a lifelong love for learning (and reading). This school year, we will set out on a new and challenging adventure in second grade. This exciting new journey is one we will explore together as a learning family. If we each are committed to give it our best, we will soar to new heights never imagined.
