Welcome To Mrs. Sully's Kindergarten Class
I am a Kindergarten teacher at Silver Valley. This is my, shall we say, too too many years to count as a K teacher at the Valley, LOL. I have taught for over 25 years in public and private schools. I have worked with grades K-10 and have also taught EC as well. My training is in both K-6, Birth-K and all areas of EC. I also hold certification for AIG (gifted and talented K-12). I attended Guilford College and Western Carolina University and Old Dominion University too. I have tutored students for more than 10 years outside of teaching in all areas of learning and reading skills for Pre-K-undergrad writing. Children's love for learning is my mission and passion. I hope to support each individual student based on their level of understanding and ability.
Teaching is a true gift in my life! I thank you in advance for allowing me the privilege of being a part of your child's learning and growth journey this school year. With your nightly support in letter sounds, words to know, practice in our reading skills, writing, and our K math standards, your child will GLOW and have a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
