About Mrs. Younts

Hello Everyone! I am Mrs. Younts. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Major in Elementary Education K-6, and a Minor in Psychology. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know you this upcoming school year. I am a third year teacher. I have taught both second and fifth grade. This year will be my first year teaching third grade, as well as my first year at Silver Valley. Yay! I believe communication is key, so I need your help to make this school year above and beyond.

I am originally from Thomasville, NC, but I currently live in Lexington, NC with my husband Jacob and our sweet pup, Grace. Coming this November we are expecting our first child, a little girl. I have always dreamed of becoming an Elementary school teacher, so I can work with students like you every day! I love working with all kids and I want to inspire them to be the very best they can be as “Practice makes permanent”!
