Fifth Grade
Hello! This is my second year at Silver Valley Elementary. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade and this is my fourth year teaching. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia. In my free time, I enjoy reading and traveling to new bookstores in the area.
I am the reading teacher for the entire 5th grade. Students will receive social studies instruction implemented into their reading instruction. We will also have a strong focus on writing this year. In addition to reading, I will also be teaching science to my homeroom class.
