Jennifer Davis

Hello! My name is Jennifer Davis and I am the assistant principal at Silver Valley Elementary. This is my third year as an assistant principal and I serve Denton and Silver Valley Elementary schools.

I grew up in Davidson County and attended Pilot Elementary, Brown Middle, and East Davidson High School. I have been in education for 24 years. I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in the Education of Deaf Students from UNCG then added licensure in Cross-Categorical Special Education which allowed me to work with students grades K-12 with a variety of skills and abilities. I have taught at Thomasville Primary School, Stoner-Thomas School, and Churchland Elementary. While at Stoner-Thomas, I added Adapted Curriculum to my teaching license then returned to graduate school at Gardner-Webb University where I earned a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership.  I am also Nationally Board Certified.
I am married and my husband is also an assistant principal in Davidson County.  We have two daughters.  One is a junior in high school and the other is a junior in college. We have five dogs that keep us busy.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and crocheting.

I look forward to serving the students and community of Silver Valley!
